What I Do

I've had this little itch inside-one that has been pushing me to be quiet and let the social chatter ramble on with out me. To be silent and work hard and become 'smaller'-this is what I'm craving. And yet I worry that if I am not engaging in FB/Tw I will be forgotten, and I will have lost my ability to influence and promote my dream (if I ever get there.) I realize now that I'm staring at the words, this may be foolishness. No, I'm quite certain now it is.

Thanks Ben. Haven't read that one, but I will after reading these notes. I would also suggest his book "Do the Work" for those who need some motivation to actually begin something.

Oh my gracious these nuggets are golden! I am an armature! Sucks! Thanks for the eye opener and I'm putting this book in my Amazon cart now! War of Art is one of my favorites.

Great stuff. I wonder where Do The Work falls in line with War of Art and Turning Pro. Always considered it the sequel :)

I'll have to check this one out.

Jenna, there was a day when social media was a meritocracy, when you could build a platform that would await your project's launch. Today, the new platform is quality work... substance. It stands out so much more than the deluge of constant chatter about nothing.

And Mitch, I think I saw Pressfield refer to it as the sequel, so going with his words...
