To any of the applicants reading this, I would just add to what Ben has written that the story of Joseph in the Old Testament will probably parallel what your experience will be like.

Joseph had big dreams. But he had to deal with nightmares (being sold by his brothers into slavery, falsely being accused of rape, thrown in prison) before his dreams came true.

It won't be an easy journey, but it will be worth it.

Glad to know the feelings of shock and fear running through me right now are normal!

As a 11' class member/alumni I can say this is spot on. Thankfully Ben kicked me in the butt in July to get me through.

jay, thank you! Carrie, yes! totally normal... and josh, loved every minute of our year-long journey. =)

The anticipation of fear is the always helps me focus in a way that I would not do so normally. The older I get the more situations I have that require such focus. In the past 3 years there have been much more unknowns than knowns. My only real support was from my relationship with God, family, and friends.

this. is. great.

No turning back!

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
