Right now, you'd have a hard time getting published because someone else owns the distribution, and it's pretty clogged. You can't put your movie in Regal Cinemas because it's a highly prized distribution channel. And if you're a preacher, you can't get on Christian radio until one of the patriarchs kicks the can.
This is why if you're a creative or a dreamer, you have to build a distribution channel too. It's all about distribution.
For the past two months, I've been building an unconventional distribution channel for a very gifted pastor. I've been meeting-and-greeting, slapping backs and kissing babies throughout cities all across North Americato to create specific environments where his message can spread. It's a really smart move because if you don't have a platform, you don't have a voice.
Yep. U nailed it. (posted via the Twitter message distribution network)

Straight truth here for sure. This is exactly what I tell my clients all the time. It's like advertising... you can rent the network or build your own and have control over it. Harder to build it but well worth it in the end.
