This was one of the greatest gifts you gave to me/our church. Now if I could just bring myself to take it out of the box a little more often!

Great article. I can't tell you how many times in my life I have said no for others. I still do it-probably daily. This one is getting printed out and taped to my teens door. Mine too.

I used to hate rejection, in fact I still dislike it greatly; however, I dislike failing because I didn't even try more than being rejected. As a result about 4 years ago I developed this little reminder to myself... "The worst they can say is no." I realized if I asked and they said no, it would be the same outcome as if I stayed on my present course and did not ask... So i started asking...and started hearing "no" after "no." But I also got some yeses mixed in.
