The moving truck pulls up to our new place in Virginia Beach this morning.
Being the analytical person I am, I drew a "pie chart of provision" in my Moleskine this morning. I'd say 15% of it was based on known sources of income. The other 85% I labeled - "unknown."
I'm not saying you can put a percentage on trusting God, but let's just say God's about to become a whole lot bigger to me. =) In the words of Jonathan, "Perhaps God will act on our behalf."
Praying for you bro. Getting close to God's country. We're up in Maryland, just north a little.

Ben, had a similar experience 18 months ago when I resigned from my staff position at a church in Fairfax 30 days after buying our first home, er...condo. No prospects, no promises, just God making it crystal clear that we had to go. I don't need to tell you this, but the post obedience sweet spot is pretty freakin' sweet.

In 30 days the moving truck will be pulling up to a parsonage about an hour from where you are to unload all our stuff. The unkown meets the known and God will do his thing and I will be in AWE.
Just said a prayer for you and your family!

Go, baby! I love to watch your faith. It's so challenging. I can't ever think comfort when I hear what you're doing. Thanks for being faithful.

Thank you for being such an inspiration to us, both in the early days and today! Your absolute faith is inspiring to us in so many ways. We are embarking on our homeschooling journey and can't wait to see how God will move in every aspect of our lives, our childrens lives and so on.

You are living radically. I love it. That is where faith is.

My pastor spoke on "Perhaps" on January 11 - to set the theme for the year. Outstanding man!
