dude. this is my favorite post of the year.

I agree.

I use to define dreaming as sitting around thinking about how the world should or could be.

I am learning that dreaming is working your butt off, investing your own money, and creating how the world should be.

Thanks for the reminder

didn't know that about walt. great post.

As someone who is in the midst of launching an independent venture, it can definitely be a little scary. Thanks for the inspirational post Ben.

I've seen this proven over and over again with people I know. However, it seems that only few people actually believe and live this out. I hope to be one of those people.

I've found this to be VERY true! You don't need anyone's permission to do big things; you just need the audacity to challenge the status quo.

So true... and a great reminder. I have a dream... but there is also fear of failure that follows that dream... thanks for the reminder to go after it! --Anna

brilliant post! love it! consider this one now tweeted :)

Dreaming and diving into what I want to accomplish. Supporting the dream myself-hoping it becomes a reality. Paying myself back when it is.

Walt Disney's story is an amazing one...had the chance to see his first studio when I lived in KC. There was not much left when I was there, just a run down building. God often uses a small dream, and tiny beginnings, to transform the future.

amazing post. im shook.

Every word and syllable of this blog is true. I know from my own experience. I've started a radio from scratch that covers film festivals and indie film makers and everyday it's laborious task. But it's my dream and with God's help and my hard work it will succeed. Deut. 8:18--God gives us power to get wealth...
