So I'm an official "Gold Card" holder.
I wish there was a Pay Pal link that fed directly into people's Starbucks accounts. You know, like a widget for people's blogs, so we could anonymously fill up their cards as a nice gesture.
Especially in a economic downturn like this.
Okay, it would be for me, darn it.
Ben, there are widgets that allow people to "tip" you on your blog. I've seen people use those to fund their coffee needs. Perhaps you should add a tip widget here and see what happens. I'm sure many of your loyal readers would love to buy you a cup of coffee from time to time.
Just a thought.

Ben,
I am a fellow Gold Card holder and I love your though process here. My wife fills up my gold card from time to time on line. This would be a great way to show a customer they are appreciated too.

I can't help but agree because I hate having to reload. A nice gift from a friend would be cool. ;-)

Gail, how many reward points did you get for that????
Posted by: Ben Arment | March 24, 2009 at 10:46 AM
i think it is 1% of everything on the visa and 3% of everything at starbucks but i would have to check.
i'm sure i could get better rewards on an air or train credit card but my intense addiction to coffee over rides all logic i would normally execute.

that would be cool, we could make you a custom widget, not sure if there would be some TM issues with Bux?
