GREAT analogy, ben...gotta say i feel much the same way. and He keeps taking me down all those roads i've tried to avoid...the dark ones where i have to really, really trust Him, not just say i do. and, He makes me wait at stoplights way longer than i'd like...:-)

thankful for you and praying for you!

Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you."

Take comfort.

He will not "backstab" you, like Norton's character in the movie.

He will guide you and comfort you and bring you through it, like the traffic light hacker, who brought Walhberg's character and the others through all those intersections.

Agree with Jay. This is a great analogy. Thanks for this thought today. Keep 'em comin!

Ben,
Has your path crossed with Henry Blackaby's writings/teachings in the Experiencing God materials? If so, how has this impacted where you are now? If you've not, I'd aim you that direction for something to ponder....

Great illustration. I needed to hear that today. I think God has hijacked my traffic light system!

I haven't seen the movie but the analogy is great! I love how God keeps us guessing...

Great analogy--I've been there. What's cool is after being frustrated forever at all the traffic lights, I'm seeing where He's leading me. Having faith He's got it all under control and hanging on for the ride...

That is great! Good words.
