hey ben,

how do you balance the seemingly competing values of

a) researching, preparing, marketing and launching a church


b) just getting out in the world, sharing the gospel and if a church emerges, great!

i'm not suggesting either is right, just that there is a bit of a tension there in my mind.

That's good stuff, bro. You're on it. Everything we've done so far have been experiments. I was tempted to change our name from The Bridge to Experimental Church :-)

David, the complexity arrives when they've got a calling to start a church in a particular area, but no one is responding to their outreach. This is a common problem among some planters I've assessed.
