What I Do

Ben that is great about your Sunday and I think what you said is a huge key for all planters. You CANNOT live by week to week attendance. You must learn about growth patterns and growth flow. There are about 22 weeks out of every year that a church will grow (normally) and each church must find out what they are for their area.
For us it is January and August-September. We grow at other times but those are the prime times. Right now is not a growth time for churches. People are too busy with the holidays and it is a great time to do an insider series. One of the reasons we didn't do the Narnia thing as much as I wanted too was that December is awful in this area and I didn't want to spent the time and money hitting a period that no matter what you do, you aren't going to grow.

Good word.

BTW, I quit blogging for a few days and I get removed from the link list. I'm hurt deeply. :)

I love the flywheel analogy -- totally resonated with me when I read it a few years ago.
