- Loving the book REWORK by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson, the founders of 37Signals
- I successfully left Moleskine behind for Behance's Action Journal. Love it, but wish it had thicker pages.
- Lots of linkage to OKGo's video This Too Shall Pass. But this other version is my favorite.
- Great ideas are spreadsheets with skin on.
- Working on book #2 at a slower pace than book #1. But I've got my system down by which a book will result.
- We should become "pregnant" with a beloved book. People who crank out book after book just because they can cheapen their writing with literary promiscuity.
- I'm loving this "How They Started" series more than anyone else. I marvel at how church planters will elevate the heroes of church planting, read their blogs, buy their books, and attend their conferences, but start their churches in the exact opposite way.
- The early bird deadline for Whiteboard ends March 31! Register by the end of the month, and I'll e-mail you the 2008 Whiteboard audio.
- I'm learning more from my Dream Year class than they are from me. It's like getting a doctorate in dreaming.
- Excited about Jon Acuff's book Stuff Christians Like, Mike McKinley's Church Planting is for Wimps, and Pete Wilson's Plan B launching in April, along with Church in the Making. Kudos to the first gen of published bloggers!
- Facebook surpasses Google in most visits? And I'm still not on it... missing out on all that Farmville.
- I'm launching the world premiere video of Church in the Making at 10:30 AM today...

Whoa, left Moleskine. Those are some big words Arment.

Trust me. You are going to be VERY happy with Behance!

I almost deleted my Facebook, but it has become a good tool for me to connect with students (I'm a part time youth pastor) and out of town family. But then I am contributing to the superficiality of relationships. Other than that, I find the stripped down, 140 character, concise nature of Twitter to be more helpful.

I really do not get why facebook is so popular. I cannot stand it.
But I guess I am missing something as well.

I don't get much out of Facebook, either. Far too many people playing Farmville and Mafia Wars. Supposedly there's a way to filter that out, but the few instructions I've gotten don't work.
I check e-mail and other connectivity at work, but Facebook is often blocked, or does not come through completely, like many other formats (e-vite, flash, etc.)
Facebook often crashes, and often loses posts (like blog software five years ago). So it's a hassle to either "select all, copy" or just rewrite. I think they put all their software dudes on games, and neglect the core platform.

Just read Rework on a plane ride yesterday and really enjoyed it. Easy, quick read but A LOT to say. Definitely lots of food for thought for church planters to chew on.

Fscebook is a great way to stay in touch with family and in tune with friends. It is also a great ministry tool. Anything for Jesus!
