This is a small sampling of the books I get in the mail from publicists. This photo represents 360,000 words I'd have to read. And it doesn't even include the books I actually buy for myself.
The other day, I got this rock in the mail. A rock. Brilliant idea. I immediately went to the website. It's for Kary Oberbrunner's new book called Your Secret Name. My son won't let go of the rock.
Here's one of the campaigns we're doing for Church in the Making. We're not giving away the book, but a faux book with teasers inside and three capsules inside with chocolate chips, gumballs and gummy worms - representing Good Ground, Rolling Rocks, and Deep Roots - the three sections in the book.

genius...for me I am lucky to get a book in the mail from someone once every 4 months, so not a problem for me. But that will definitely stand out from the others.
I will be your filter if you want. Just send those books my way and will go through them. Would love some free books.

I have been anticipating your book for a while. Thanks for all that you do for spurring my creativity forward, Ben. I have read your blog faithfully for the past couple of years and I look forward to the release of your first book in April.
How can I get one of the promos for your new book?

really cool.
and btw, if you want to promote your book in Montreal/Quebec, send me some copies or faux books and I'll pass them on to the right people
I'm part of a church planting network here and across Canada - could be a great way to share your book with them
actually, I've enjoyed your teasers on the blog, i.e. the stories - captivating
