- Great responses to yesterday's question: "Who would you like to hear?" Working through them link by link.
- Helping to launch an exciting new project by Vince Antonucci and Baker Books in January.
- You've got to check out Pinball Publishing. I bookmarked them two years ago and am finally using them.
- If you're taking out ads on blogs or websites, here's some unsolicited advice: compelling image and one word. Maybe two words. Three if you must. And four only when absolutely necessary.
- Two megachurches in Virginia Beach just recently lost their pastors and are getting new ones. Brand new day ahead in this town.
- So disturbed by the suicide of an A29 church planter in Texas over Thanksgiving weekend. I'm not sure there's any safe place for pastors to deal with their stuff.
- There are some artists who - when you bring them an idea - they come back with something 100 times better. I seek these people out. Woo them. Hold onto them.
- Straight No Chaser a cappella group. These guys rock. Kill 4 minutes of your life and watch [this].
- Levi's "Go Forth" campaign is completely weird but love the filmmaking... and the use of Walt Whitman poetry.
- Getting my braces off today. Finally. After 14 months. Mrs. Arment better watch out. That's all I'm saying.
- I just realized I won't have a Christmas party this year because I don't work in an office anymore. That's okay. All the more egg nog for me.

Congratulations on the braces, friend! Post a new smiling picture soon.
And working for yourself the whole year long is better by far than any office Christmas party. Not that I'm telling you anything you don't know. But still.

Ben, good point regarding lack of safe places for pastors to deal with their stuff. One big reason I am developing Ministry Care. As a professional counselor and ordained minister I am finding a way to help! Thanks for writing honest thoughts, Gary
