I'm a big fan of NFL Films: The pageantry, the slow-motion clashes, the thunderous orchestral music, the epic narration. It makes each game much more than just a game. They've managed to systematize their creative approach to filming football. Here are the ingredients...
- Film is always used
- One camera is dedicated to slow motion shots
- Microphones are positioned on the sidelines
- Narrators with deep, powerful, baritone voices are preferred
- Slow-motion shots of the spinning football as it travels through the air
- Sound bites of local radio broadcasts over key plays
- Multiple camera angles
- Muscular orchestral scores
- Film of the players and coaches in the locker room after the game
This past weekend, I wrote lists of what makes STORY... STORY. And what makes Whiteboard... Whiteboard. The essential, unmistakable ingredients that distinguish these experiences.
Wish we could dialogue about what makes your product / service / experience stand out...

And what a great team for the photo! Them's MY boys ... Go Colts!
