My One and Only "Ask" of you as a Reader

I don't make requests of you as readers. So this is the first. And I hope you'll hear my heart...

I want STORY to help church leaders become more effective at communicating the Gospel - the greatest story ever told.

This is a non-profit organization, so I've got several bottom lines. One of them is this -- I want to help 400 urban pastors experience this event. These are leaders in Chicago's hardest areas who probably can't afford to come with the economy the way it is.

This is our first year, and we haven't reached break-even in registrations yet. So I've got a big question for you... Would you consider purchasing several tickets - or even one - so that we can invite 400 leaders for free?

I would love to help but 169 is a bit steep for me right now. You have a way to chip in twenty or thirty bucks?

FYI-
I appreciate your thoughtfulness of the urban pastors. Just so you know directly north of Aurora, Illnois - Winnebago & Boone counties have the highest unemployment in the state. They're not "urban" but they're definitely hurting.
