Zondervan gave away its new book The Inklings to the first five registrants of STORY. Here are the five lucky winners:
Tally Wilgis - good, good friend and awesome church planter in Baltimore, Maryland. Bringing his whole team to STORY!
Ron Edmondson - long-time blog friend, coming up for STORY and to hang with his son who will be a freshman at Moody this fall.
Joshua Symonette - amazing pastor-friend in Washington, DC - met him at Whiteboard. Former NFL player - turned - talented pastor and leader.
Greg Rohlinger - the inspiring leader of Palm Valley Church in California. He's such an encouraging, charismatic leader - bringing his team!
Brandon Hoops - never met Brandon, but I love his passion for creativity. Coming from Columbia, MO, and is apparently a darn-good photographer.

i want to come, Ben! but you never answered my previous comment of long ago...what's it all about, EXACTLY? is it something i would benefit from, despite the fact that i dont have an official leadership role in the church? the IDEA of it intrigues me and excites my spirit, but a few more details would be nice :)

Sarah, Story is for those who have a heart for communicating the Gospel in the most compelling ways possible. You definitely don't have to be on-staff at a church.
This will be a unique conference experience in that we're combining great content with a theatrical experience. I don't think it's ever been done before.
Day two is more informal, and probably more practical. You'll hear from filmmakers, authors, scholars, photographers, etc, about communicating as an art.
As a highly creative, follower of Christ, you're going to love it. Plus, you get to fly to Chicago for free, right? =)
