Three years ago, Ainsley and I won a trip to London, England in a Kodak sweepstakes, and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. Without question, our favorite part of the trip was traveling to Oxford to see where CS Lewis spent his days. See photos of the trip here and here.
STORY was highly influenced by the legacies of Lewis and Tolkien. The STORY website is a depiction of the Eagle & Child pub where they read unfinished manuscripts to each other. So I couldn't think of a better promotional give-away than a trip to the Kilns - CS Lewis' Oxford home.
I partnered with the CS Lewis Foundation to provide a trip for two during their Summer Seminars in Residence program. If you win, we'll pay coach airfare for two to London Heathrow Airport and money for transportation to Oxford. The CS Lewis Foundation will provide tuition for the program, lodging at a nearby bed & breakfast, meals during the program, and transportation in-town.
Register by September 30. A valid passport is required to win - and you'll have only 24 hours to fax confirmation, so be prepared. We'll announce the winner live at STORY.
