I download their soundtracks on iTunes
I watch them on the Bravo network
I like the book Blue Ocean Strategy because it analyzes them
I bought the book The Spark because of them
They even came to Atlanta last month
I subscribe to their newsletters
And Franco Dragone is my hero
But I have never been to a Cirque Du Soleil show.
What's wrong with me?

Everything is wrong with you Ben
You have NO excuse.
Tickets were HALF OFF the 2 weeks they were in town!
I went for the first time a couple weeks back and was BLOWN AWAY.
I wrote about it here :: http://www.nuvement.com/2009/02/20/i-hope-that-heaven-is-a-good-as-cirque-de-soleil/

their show "ka" was one of the most amazing things i've ever seen in my life. worth a trip to vegas just to see it.

if you're into their music, you MUST go to a show. it's incredible to see/watch/hear all the music live - as the show happens, in sync with every move. their musicians are amazing.
the show at downtown disney (orlando) is backed by a smallish music group (no more than 10 - 15...at least that i could see).

i'm totally going to start becoming one of those people that doesn't go to shows but instead spends the money on upping their cd/dvd collection.
in all honesty, i went to a patti griffin/emmilou harris concert a few weeks ago and was so disappointed.
i'm rethinking my philosphy on experience (concerts, conferences and the like). throwing hard cash on the line and being disappointed is something i loathe. and i'm sad to say, this past year i've been disappointed by most of my experiences.

Amazing shows, I have seen La Nouba 3 times and went to Las Vegas and saw Mystere.
Besides my brother living in Vegas Cirque is the only reason to go there!

Ben,
I saw the KA show in Vegas and it absolutely blew my mind. I wish our services at Dulles could engage the fascination and imagination on a level that even approaches that. You must go and make it happen. It would change the way you approach West Coast Catalyst.

Just got back from Vegas and saw the "Love" show (Beatles music) It was amazing.
I have also seen the Orlando show.
Both shows are worth every penny.
TV/DVD doesn't accurately represent what both shows are like live.
Especially the 'Love' show. The way they manage the show in the round is amazing. (Using curtains to divide the theater into small(er) sections at certain points during the show.)
The sound design was excellent as well (speakers built into the seats)
Go see a show, Ben!

So which album of theirs do you like best? I've been wanting to get one, but it's hard to know where to start...
