Are sociologists. I don't know if I'm just becoming more interested in sociology... or if they're just becoming better storytellers. Just picked up Malcolm Gladwell's new book Outliers, which will sit alongside Sway, The Black Swan, The Tipping Point, The Starfish and the Spider... as my favorites. Absolutely fascinating book.

i think a lot of western christianity is seeing a resurgence in sociology as well. it's also interesting to me because the best missiologists have always been able to talk about sociological concepts in light of engaging people for the mission of god.

Ben! I miss you guys!
I'm going to have to check out that book- thinking about a Sociology degree in the future, and, thus, have to affirm that in sociology lies the future of the Church.
Okay, maybe a bit extreme, but there is definitely something to it.

Can't wait to listen to it. As a sociologist by education, it is great to see the combo between the church & social sciences, not to mention corporate America & sociology. Enjoy the ride - it is a fascinating topic!
