A big reason I read the IJM Institute blog is to hear about their incredible rescue efforts that have freed slaves in some surprising places. Need Magazine photo-documented some of IJM's rescues as well... Scroll down and read some of the personal stories. It will weigh-down your heart like nothing else.

Wow...thanks for the link, I think. Looking over the websites reminds me of how much there is to do in the world and that only God has the resources to do what needs to be done. It is so humbling to see issues that you know must make God weep, but all the more so because so few people take the time to care, much less do anything. I pray that IJM will continue to inspire and inform so that more and more of us will step out of our comfort zones and serve...you keep me uncomfortable Mr. Ben and for that, I am grateful. =)

This is incredible. I have been very involved in Cambodia, and it has definitely put things back into perspective for me on several occasions. It's amazing what we allow to matter to us in our culture.
