A) Loves to support the influence of others. Would rather be a part of an entourage and play on a winning team... than go for broke and not make it.
B) Lives for your own dreams. Would rather be the underdog and struggle to make it... than be significant by association and surrender your own ideas.

I'll take A... PS Hope the next few days are awesome - you innovator, you!

At this point in my life...B.

P.S. - Looking forward to Catalyst this week. Hopefully I'll see you around at the church planting labs.

C) All of the above :)
I.e., associate yourself with folks who share your calling and vision, and whose ideas align with your own -- more of a pack of wolves, than a lone wolf...

so who leads the team Steve? do you see yourself in that role? If everyone's leading, no one is leading.

Still a both/and for me -- I'm part of a broader team where I'm in the "A" camp, but in my day to day work with churches, I'm in the "B" camp.
Guess I'm pushing back on how you've defined "B" -- because I do think it's possible to pursue a shared dream, where co-laboring does not equal surrendering your own ideas...
How would you define your role with Catalyst -- A or B?

So you're an A in some environments and a B in others? I think that's everyone to some extent.
I'd push back to say that effective teams are led by one visionary. I'd love to hear your examples...
And I wouldn't be at Catalyst if I couldn't pursue my own dreams.

Right, now I'm with B, with an eye toward become a capital A with other little b's the product. Nine months into a church start, I live for my vision, I am the underdog and I am struggling to make it. I'm not into significant by association and will not surrender my own mission.
But I'm building for a time where I am supporting the influence of others. I pray that I will be a part of a winning team. I hope that team is made up of people who live for our vision, who are still the underdog and who are still struggling to make it. I want this team to not be into significant by association and will not surrender our own mission.
