Had an awesome lunch with Pete Hixon the other day. Pete's the lead pastor of Vinings Lake Church here in Georgia. He took a dead church of about 12 people and turned it into 450 in just over two years. Pete happens to be the son-in-law of Johnny Hunt, who is current prez of the SBC. Pete's been flying under the radar for a while, but my guess is that he won't be able to do that for long...

Crazy, I met their connections pastor about a week ago and am meeting up with him again next week. I live in Smyrna-Vinings and my wife and I have been talking about visiting them for a while. Small world eh?
