AHHH...Burnkit. I actually met those Josh Dunford about 10 years ago when Burnkit was still pretty young. They are definitely some amazing designers! I am jealous!

"couldn't make it through" implies that you started, which begs the question, why?
I'm not one to shun pop culture, TV, or even award shows. But the VMAs? MTV is irrelevant these days, or so it seems to me.

I think I could say the same for pretty much all television. =) Hey, I'm in the event business. It's called recon. Probably the same reason you look inside a Lexus every now and then as an auto engineer.

Steve Fee is a great guy. I brought him to Columbia, SC a number of years ago to lead worship for a couple of days for this huge missions conference I coordinated. It was awesome getting to know him over the two-day period. This past November I literally ran into him in a mall in Atlanta and we caught up. I haven't heard whose leading worship for Catalyst but I hope he is one of them. :-)

me thinks you should create some sort of contest or scavenger hunt of sorts for the Catalyst West Coast big deal speaker. hide clues on various bloggers sites or clues at Catalyst in ATL. just thinking of some interactive fun. :) winners get Catalyst ATL DVD or CD or something.

Ben, my boy Jacob turned 5 on Sunday. We had a little bash of neighborhood crazies. It was insane! And my boy Drew was 2 a week ago. Maybe next summer we plan a little southern style, ATL flavored b-day party?

wax is what got me through braces; especially at the beginning. Eventually your lips will grow accustomed to the weirdness of having metal on your teeth and toughen up. But...just wait til you get them off-you will never believe how SMOOTH your teeth feel!
