This morning was more than interesting. Over 50 creative folks came together for a big brainstorming meeting about Catalyst 08 in Atlanta. I have never laughed so hard in my life... You wouldn't believe the creativity that poured out of this group. Some of the most out-of-the-box ideas I've heard. In fact, there was no box. Some things were zany, some ingenious, and some completely impossible, but the word "no" was forbidden in the room. Anyone who said, "That won't work" was put in "time-out" somewhere else in the building. Awesome. This year will def be best Catalyst ever.

O' to join a team like that . . . until that day I'll dream my dreams.

Is there video footage available? That would be awesome to see. Maybe after the event so as not to ruin all the surprises.

I WISH I WAS PART OF THAT TEAM!
(Sorry for the caps, but you get the message... ;))

There's definitely video, but it's under lock-and-key for review purposes only. =) At the end of the gathering, Brad commanded all bloggers to cease & desist... and the entire group said, "BEN!!!" =) I'm sworn to secrecy.

Sounds inspiring. As a pragmatist, I often hear of the no-idea-is-a-bad-idea brainstorming session, yet at some point the realities of available resources must come into play. I don't recall ever hearing how that step in the process plays out. As Catalyst08 matures from concept to actuality I'd enjoy hearing about the decision making process.

We are watching you like a hawk...the results of this meeting are stored in a lock box. Any leak into the public will change the rotation of the earth :)
In all seriousness...It is so great having you here...you bring such fresh passion. Thanks for your heart and obedience!
