Sometimes the greatest threat to God's plan for our lives is having a good job.
Knowing the truth about ourselves can be one of the most undignifying and painful experiences we'll ever face. But we would rather die from the deceit of men's praises.
Three reasons we keep doing what we're not supposed to do:
a. It's what we know.
b. We fear disappointing people more than God.
c. We can't stand the thought of being replaced.
We have to heed that deep, inner holy frustration... because God put it there.
