I'm just kidding about the title... but, seriously, I have never before seen a movement sweep the church world like that of the helicopter egg drop at Easter.
Never again will a regular easter egg hunt on the ground satisfy the masses of small children. Even the White House might want to consider adjusting their tradition with Marine One. But we need to give credit where credit is due. I think it was Elevation Church that started it, so Steven Furtick ought to get the tactic named after himself. From this point on, the helicopter egg drop shall be referred to as "Elevated Eggs" or "The Furtick Eggs of Fury."

For the record:
Churches were doing egg drops decades ago.

I was doing them myself long time ago as well.

I think you guys are missing the spirit of my blog for the sake of the letter. This isn't the New York Times. =)

Pardon our legalistic journalism, Ben.

Believe it or not, we actually are running into some issues with it here. We're trying to plan one, but the helicopter company we're using tells us the city of Santa Cruz has sued to helicopter companies in the past for dropping things. So we need to get writing from the city that they won't sue, and that's turning out to be tough.
Apparently every other city in the area is fine. ours is just whack. So we're praying we'll be able to make it happen!
