- I've got some advice for putting together a resume: 1. two pages max, 2. no inserted pictures, and 3. don't list your hobbies. ugh.

Why don't you like the photos and personal stuff on resumés? Not for all industries, to be sure, but in hiring for ministry it helps me get a sense of the whole person and often helps to put them at ease in the interview.
And honestly, one page is plenty, IMHO.

Thanks for commenting Rich! I recommend a nice 3x5 photo paper-clipped to the resume, but not printed on the actual sheet. Resumes always get photocopied, and the pics never hold up. As for hobbies, employers want to see someone with a strong work ethic, not fishing, on his mind. Maybe if you're applying for Wendy's...
