Flying In
Fly into Dulles International Airport (IAD) - It's 5 minutes drive-time to the Reston Hyatt. I'd encourage you to fly-in the night before and schedule your outgoing flight after 6:30 PM. The conference runs from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM on May 22. Registration starts at 8:00 AM.
Hotels
Sadly, you won't find a great deal on hotels in this area, which is why we kept the early bird rate so low. Weekdays are prime-time for spies and ambassadors to visit the clandestine CIA buildings in Reston. =)
It would AMAZING if you could stay at the Reston Hyatt, but it's close to $275 a night. The website will list all the nearby hotels and their going rates. I worked deals with two hotels, but the others were just too busy to negotiate.
Getting to the Conference
The Reston Hyatt Hotel is located [HERE]: 1800 Presidents Street, Reston, VA 20190, Phone: (703) 709-1234. The conference will take place in the grand ballroom on the second floor.
The Dulles Toll Road - Route 267 - is the main artery that takes you from the Dulles International Airport EAST into Washington DC. Take EXIT 12 (Reston Parkway) NORTH to get to the Hyatt, which will be on your left.
The Traffic
DC traffic on the Dulles Toll Road is bad between 7:00 and 9:30 AM. Best to find a hotel inland so you can navigate the back-roads to the Reston Hyatt.
Reston Town Center
The Reston Hyatt is located in Reston Town Center - a breathtaking "new urban" downtown environment. [HERE] is a PDF map of the restaurants, shops, and entertainment. All of the parking garages that surround the Town Center are FREE. Try to park in the hotel garage.
Bring Someone With You
This is not the kind of conference you want to attend alone. These speakers are bringing some of the most powerful ideas in ministry. I encourage you to expose your key leaders to fresh thinking. Some of our speakers are bringing their entire staff.
