The fifth speaker to announce for the Whiteboard Sessions on May 22 is none other than Perry Noble, senior pastor of NewSpring Church in Anderson, South Carolina.
Perry leads one of the fastest growing churches in the country, and you won't find anyone who loves helping people find Jesus more than this guy. One of the best communicators in the country, Perry combines his incredible sense of humor with straight-shooting delivery to cut through the clutter and smack biblical principles on people's foreheads... all with an endearing humility. Perry comes from a tragic childhood and years of rejecting the church to now being one of the premiere pastors in America. God's favor is pouring all over NewSpring, which is seeing hundreds and hundreds of people come to Christ each year. Perry is one of the featured speakers at Fellowship Church's C3 Conference this winter, and on May 22, he'll be in Reston for Whiteboard.
The Whiteboard website with registration opportunities will launch in January. Tomorrow's announced speaker has written one of the landmark books in church ministry...

All of these speakers look great. I'm ready to sign up. How much?

Ok... you could scratch ALL THE OTHER SPEAKERS (except for Mark B... no offense, other guys) and I'd come for Perry alone!
I'm there, baby!

The Whiteboard Sessions conference looks great so far, but let's get down to brass tax. What's the cost? I'm a church planter with very little money and having just had a newborn, we are strapped.
I greatly appreciate that it's one day 8 speakers, 8 ideas, 30 mins each. But how much for the conference and a nights stay at the extremely beautiful Reston Hyatt?
Let me know...

Kez, we're not opening registration until January, and you'll see costs at that time (sorry, you'll have to hang on.=) But I wouldn't recommend strapped church planters staying at the $300/night Hyatt. There are nearby hotels for much cheaper. I'll list those on the site. Don't worry... you'll be able to do this. I'm a church planter too.

BA, here's an idea, maybe get your church members in on this and have them open up their homes to ones who need it. Romans 12:13 states, "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality." Just a thought...

i was kidding tim because he lives here locally. =) Tim, you are seriously one of the most compassionate, Christ-centered people I know. I'm glad to count you as a friend... and this really is a great idea. Let me percolate.

Ben,
This is going to be HUGE. I think by 2010, you'll be able to go the multisite/video route like Willow's Leadership Summit. If so, make one of your venues Virginia Beach, so that some of us can stay at Tally's place.
Just a thought... :)

I love the speaker lineup. I'm excited and ready to signup. Thanks Ben for putting this together. I think you have a great response to this conference. See you in May
