Whiteboard Speakers, pt 4
The fourth speaker to announce for the Whiteboard Sessions on May 22, is Darrin Patrick, lead pastor of The Journey, a rapidly growing, multi-campus church in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
Darrin stared the church in 2002 and it has quickly grown from 30 people to over 1,400. Darrin has one of the sharpest minds in ministry -- Google search his articles on church planting, missiology and leadership, and you'll find some of the best reading on the web. Darrin is highly familiar to Mark Driscoll fans -- he's Vice President of the Acts29 Church Planting Network, and one of the most passionate advocates of living the gospel in the real world. Oh... and he's working on his first book, The Man, The Message, The Mission. There's no doubt, Darrin will rock our worlds.
I'm saving the final four speakers for next week starting Monday. Believe me, it gets even better... =)
(Jaw on floor...)

This thing is going to sell out within 15 minutes of going on-line - how can I be sure I don't miss the opportunity to register? ;-)

It's like the Blue Weezer album, there's no way that you're gonna top it, jk (cb). Nice reference to the movie "Sandlot" (tc). Ben, I look forward to all these guys interacting with the biblical text of the Word, lunch and the breaks between the speaker sessions (ba, you know what I mean), and the Q/A time afterwards with the speakers and the attendees. This is one thing that I've learned and enjoyed immensely from the other conferences I've attended, i.e. T4G, the Weekenders at CHBC, Gospel Growth vs. Church Growth, etc. I hope that you have this time in the schedule, if not, I hope it's in the workings.

Tim, I am definitely working hard to build it in. I know what you mean about this...
David, if you watch this conference feed on my blog in early January, you'll eventually get an exact date on open registration. Thanks for your interest!
