Just a little taste of my world for ya this week...
- This morning, I got to have lattes with Todd Wilson and Pat Ferguson of Passion For Planting -- organizers of the National New Church Conference in Orlando every year. Gleaned such great insight on the art of conferencing. How many people can drive 10 minutes to meet with the gurus of church planting?
Saw this logo design and thought it was incredible branding for a conference. Tracked down my amazing friend who did it about creating the branding for Whiteboard... and he's on-board. He's on-board for White-board.- Yesterday morning, I sensed God telling me through scripture that someone in my life needed an outpouring of grace that day. By 3:30 pm, I was wringing my heart out to a new friend about how much God loved him - sweet.
- Just talked on the phone with my long-time friend Dave Daniels who started Churchy Media. He was just named by Collide Magazine as link-of-the-week... Dave is a former member of NSync. [At least he sings like he could've been. =]
- Speaking of boy bands, we just signed a phenonmenal worship act to the Whiteboard Sessions. =) I have to announce the remaining speaker-extraordinairres next week, but I'll unveil the band closer to Christmas so that you'll have something to read in your new slippers on a snowy morning.
- I could listen to Aletheia's Dave Proffitt's podcasts all day.
- I went out to scrape the ice off our cars this morning, and the two-part zipper on my parka got separated, leaving me cinched in the coat without a way out. To my onlooking neighbors, I looked like a toss-up between a bee-keeper with a hole in his overalls and "a fat man in a little coat." I swear I almost burned the coat when I got it off.
- Fun Friday ahead -- I get to meet with my good friend Drew who was just appointed national director of the New Generation Initiative for Chuck Colson. Then an RCC Christmas party in the evening... can't wait for the fun.
- The church health diagnostic on our church begins in January. Several local pastors are coming together to help us get to the next level. They're recording video of our service this Sunday, analyzing message audio of previous weeks, and then conducting interviews with as many people in our church as possible in late January.

Would you share the name of the designer/firm who created the EC08 brand?
