Just finished reading "Save Me From Myself" by former Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch... and wow, what a read. Radical salvation of one of the most savage rockers in heavy metal. This isn't a book review, so all I'll say is 1. We fathers have a bigger impact on our children than we care to admit, and 2. It's awesome to know we're never too far from God to come home. Still waiting for the salvation story of this former Christian school student.

I'm praying for James Hetfield. That's not a condemnation of his music - I love Metallica - but I'm pretty sure they're all unbelievers. I'm not even trying to "get some real musicians on God's side." I just see them as people who need Jesus. Period. Head has been a tremendous witness already. Praise God, man.
