I'm loving our Sunday night "men in training" gatherings. I thought it would be like pulling teeth to get these men to memorize whole chapters of scripture, but they're getting cocky with their mad memorization-skills. They're even challenging me to up the ante!
Ultimately, I'm praying for a group of godly men who speak with one voice in defense of each other and of righteousness. All these guys have supportive wives at home and children who miss their dads on Sunday nights, but they know a godlier man makes for a godlier husband and father.
I want these guys to join me in comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable. I want them to be BURS in the seats, not BUNS in the seats...
That's great news BA! Now have your boys try Ephesians 1:3-6 or Romans 3:23-26, that may keep them humble?!?!
