Blogging has gone mainstream. The people we used to blog about... are now blogging. It's the tool of buzz, and the machine has discovered it. The books I used to "discover" are now shipped to me with a request from the publisher to mention them. The conferences I loved to attend now send me special offers that I can "cut and paste" into a post. Bloggers ourselves are becoming more aware of the benefits of back-scratching and less analytical and authentic about the ministry world, which is what makes blogging so special to begin with.

Man, I'm not a big-time blogger yet like you, my friend! I never get those things!! :-)

The good thing is, most people can still spot authenticity. Those that sell out will slowly (quickly?) lose their readers.
Way to keep it real, Ben :)
