I held off on the AirClick remote when I learned the MacBook 
came with its own remote. But reception in the theater was a bit loose on Sunday... too much space for a tight connection to the laptop. The goal is to make the remote completely invisible to the crowd... but I was having to do some hand acrobatics as discreetly as possible for a few slides.

Hey Ben, the Macbook remotes are infared - so they require a sight-to-sight connection. so, you'll have to make sure the remote is pointed in the general direction of the laptop (also, distance may be a factor)
