Phil Cooke links to the winners of the "best presentation" contest at SlideShare. If there is any area of ministry that could still be greatly improved in the church, it's presentations. We're great at the song lyrics over motion loops... the interesting title graphics... and the video clips. But our message presentations themselves are still in neanderthal stages.


It's such a massive part of a service chemistry...that it's surprising it's overlooked.
Yes, the intros and looping stuff is nice...but when it comes to the things that really matter. The moments that make the whole thing stick or really open up your heart...we discount it.
I think it's because all the other things are easy. They can be "fluff" and don't have to follow something tangible like a story or point.
