You can't outgive God, but you can outgive other people

"I will never let anyone in my church outgive me." ~ Rick Warren

I love this quote because I passionately believe it for myself. The great thing about financial stewardship is that you can be dirt poor and actually give more than the wealthiest and biggest givers in your church... because giving is about sacrifice, not amount. Ainsley and I have resolved to not only give beyond a tithe to RCC, but to bless ministries and people additionally as situations arise. I don't want anyone in our church outgiving me. This is the only way I can get the credibility to ask others to make similar sacrifices.
