Learning from Vegetables

og I thought I was taking a break from serious reading when I started Me, Myself & Bob by VeggieTales founder Phil Vischer. But for a lover of storytelling, creativity, technology, and chasing dreams... this book has been a great read on my days off. Phil fought off the temptation of selling out to easy money and a stable job his whole career, especially with his highly marketable skills in computer animation. But he stayed the course, and the rest is history. Great take-aways from this book... although I'm sure we'll be seeing it in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart in no time at all. I take back that last phrase. Just finished the book and found it to be one of the best reads of the year. Suprisingly convicting and spiritually focused after the hard lessons of a bankrupt media empire.
