For the love of all that is good and decent...
Each January, some of the crazy guys in History Church go camping [last year's pic]. They intentionally pick the coldest month of the year and prohibit any creature-comfort amenities [such as lighters or matches] to prove how undomesticated they are. Well, they've roped me into going with them this Friday night...
There are so many more pleasant ways to hang out [movie night, for example]. But hey, I've got to be a pastor of the people. =)
In all seriousness, I'm so grateful we've got a church where guys can be guys. The technology we use... the road crew opportunities... the dodge ball competitions during Sunday set-up... If there's any reason to stay portable ~ it's to keep guys engaged and excited. Love it.
I'd like to see the next picture have you in it -- wearing Camo's. Then I'll believe that you actually ventured out into the woods.
