We're continuing to show inspiring videos on Sunday mornings of other church plants that risked something to reach their communities for Christ. This week is National Community Church and Mark Batterson. We've got a powerful video of Mark describing how NCC met in an elementary school before stepping into the middle of the marketplace at Union Station's movie theaters. This bold move turned their church from 50 folks to nearly a thousand today with several campuses and a fully operational coffeehouse in downtown DC.

Ben,
Too funny man. Wasn't expecting to see this post or picture. Nice flashback :)
Inspired by your vision and heart, Ben. Keep on keeping on!

This is an awesome idea! We are a church plant in PA that is sort of stalled a bit - not in enthusiasm or dedication so much as limited by our space, money and other things that have held up the progress of our vision a bit. Also, trying to get leaders raised up so that as we do grow, we have places to plug people in. Right now we have a hit a point of real frustration over how to do kids ministry in our limited facility with some people that are willing, but no one with a real passion for kids ministry. (And out of 50 people total, about 15 are kids age 6 and under). Anyway, a lot of our people are totally unfamiliar with church planting or the nature of it (that all this kind of stuff is pretty normal growth pains) and it would be so encouraging to see others' stories. Where are you able to get the videos to show? We are currently doing a "Chase the Lion" series and it would be a perfect complement to that!
