My wife and I also had an encounter with the one in Fairfax on Lee highway, they forgot to add in my wifes peppermint flavor. When we went back to visit again my wife mentioned how the peppermint was forgotten and they gave us both our drinks for free.
Mmmmm..Tall decaf skim no whip peppermint mocha and then mine quad grande sugar free vanilla skim latte. Makes me thirsty again.

Our pastors are Starbux hustlers...I knew it. No wonder we are able to secure so many $3.00 Starbux cards... :-)

Wish I had the same experience. I had a horrible time at the Gainesville, VA store shortly after it opened. So I emailed customer service from their website and heard absolutely nothing back from them!
After all I had heard about the value they place on the customer i was thoroughly disappointed.

Neil, I've noticed that every store has a stack of business cards by the register with contact info for the regional manager. I grabbed one as I was walking out the door, which caused an employee to shout pleasantries at me all the way out into the parking lot... =)

I too had a bad Starbucks experience and was sent two free drink coupons. That store is still the WORST, but no worries, I just go to the one down the road.
And now I'm struck by the sad reality of corporate homogeneity.
