I've always wanted to do History Church TV commercials. Cable ad rates are actually lower than newspaper advertising, but the production costs are much higher to create something quality. My advertising background taught me that TV has a high vulnerability to cheesy-ness. So you either do it right, or don't do it at all. Matt, Jen and I are headed to DC tomorrow to talk with a local filmmaker about some ads. He's a former producer with NBC and CBS news and is currently a documentary filmmaker. It would be nice if he drove a Honda Element. =)

Ben, I'd love to hear more about this - keep us updated. (Or just shoot me an email - bill@kaleohouston.com)

Not sure if the Honda Element reference was related to my current favorite TV commercial.
