I'm a bachelor for a few days. Ainsley and Wyatt flew to Indiana this afternoon to visit her father. We gave Wy a little Benadryl to calm him down for the plane ride ~ and he did great. =) Is that legal? j/k =) [that was a pediatrician's advice] Thankfully, there was an open seat next to Ains on the plane, so Wy had plenty of play-space.
Just got back from a cook-out with our families small group ~ great bunch of folks. I'm convinced that until History Church takes more and more precedence on people's social calendar... we won't reach our full potential. Our congregation has to be made up of friends.
Just a thought, if we are exuding any denominational qualities these days, I'd have to say it's Young Life [I know ~ not a denomination]. But our services are filling up with leaders, high school kids, and even middle school students... all associated with YL. I love the relationship that's developing between us ~ to reach whole families for Christ. The parents go where their kids go on Sundays...

Where in Indiana did they go?

Kevin, Ainsley's dad lives in Zionsville. How far is that from you?

About 1.5 hours at least. I was just curious. Question for you: How far is Reston from Liberty? I am sure I'll be headed out there this year cuz my brother graduates from their this year. I may have to swing by and check out History Church.

Liberty is about 4 hours southwest of Reston. Virginia is a really wide state. =( We're in the suburbs of Washington DC.
